My concentration focuses on the structure and order of cells and molecules on the microscopic level. Specifically my concentration investigates the dependence of the various levels of structure on one another and the consequences of deterioration of this order in genetic diseases.

Breadth #7
This week I did a still life in Sharpie. For this piece I focused on texture and unity through mark-making.
Well my comment erased somehow. great. but basically I said that I like how you used variation in lines to show value and shape. It looks really great and it will be good for your breadth because it is more realistic and less structured that your other peices
Laura- Very well done! You did a great job rendering this through hatching and cross-hatching marks and I am very pleased with the unique perspective, the detail, and the sense of patterning that is created through the mark-making. Way to go!
nice black and white drawing. I love how you focus on your mark making with each object though the cup in the right hand corner could use some work.
